What I made

Raider Education is a student-led leadership and peer-mediation workshop program at Texas Tech. It had ended years earlier, and when it was revived there was no prior material to build on. The assistant director wrote rough content, and I turned it into the program's brand identity and every presentation deck from scratch, plus its flyers, posters, and videos.

The identity shows up on the workshop slides, on the flyers and posters, and in the program brochure. The brochure uses a hexagon layout for the four offerings — workshops for student organizations, trainings for student staff teams, facilitated conversations, and sessions for aspiring student leaders — next to workshop topics like Leadership Begins Here, Conflict with Civility, Keys to Success: Mentorship, and the High Impact Leadership series.

When within the Jan 2024 – Jul 2025 role did the Raider Education revival start and finish, and roughly how many decks and pieces did it include? No source records this; fill the date and timeline fields above once known.

Outcome

A revived program with a brand identity and every presentation deck where none had existed, plus its flyers, posters, and videos. This work sat inside the same role where I produced 60+ print and digital pieces for 25–30 events across three units.

Any workshop counts or attendance numbers for Raider Education? None are in the verified facts — do not add any without confirming.

Process

In two or three sentences, how did you go from the assistant director's rough content to the finished identity and decks? No source records the steps.

Separately, as part of prompt-engineering training with ChatGPT, I built something for Texas Tech related to the Raider Education program, which I helped monitor. I envisioned it as a two-way practice: a way for RaiderEd to find new presentation participants, and a way to help departments on campus see which programs best align with them.

Tools

Across the Texas Tech role I worked in Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, Illustrator (basic), Premiere, Acrobat, OBS, and Blender.

Which of these did you use on Raider Education specifically? Fill the `tools` list in the frontmatter once confirmed. Is the flagship deck rebuilt in Keynote yet (brief line 79)?
