What I made
As Visual Identity and Brand Coordinator for Intercultural Education & Engagement at Texas Tech, I designed 60+ print and digital pieces for 25–30 events across three units: Campus Access & Engagement, the Student Enrichment Center, and Raider Education. The work covered flyers, posters, brochures, social graphics, event signage, presentations, videos, and merchandise.
My job was to create marketing materials that reel students in and establish community. The designs covered everything from cooking classes and film screenings to professional development events.
once the phase-2 images land in the `images` list above, restore your old-portfolio line here: "Here you can find most of the designs I made for the department over the year ... so hopefully some of them catch your eye." It was removed because the page currently shows no images.
I built the collateral around a shared template system and kept branding consistent across departments, student organizations, and external partners.
confirm "shared template system" is accurate — the only sources are your case-study outline in PORTFOLIO_BRIEF.md ("template system") and the resume skill "brand identity systems and templates". If it holds: how many templates were in the system, what did they share (type, color, grid, logo lockups), and did each unit have its own variant?
Outcome
- 60+ print and digital pieces for 25–30 events across three units.
- Branding kept consistent across departments, student organizations, and external partners.
- Before leaving the role, I pre-built the full 2025–26 academic-year event flyer set.
are there attendance, reach, or reuse numbers for these events? None are in the brief, so none are claimed here.
Process
describe how a piece moved from a unit's event request to a finished flyer — who briefed you, how approvals worked, and how you scheduled the 2025–26 set ahead of time. No source covers this; the section stays empty until you answer, or delete the heading.
Tools
Adobe Premiere, Illustrator (basic), Express, and Acrobat; Canva; Figma; Blender; OBS.
which tools did the bulk of the flyer work, and which were used only for video (Premiere, OBS) or 3D (Blender)?
