What I made
Most of my innovation work comes from mediums I taught myself. I practice with new tools and ideas in my free time to build new skills; some I can apply in the field and some are recreation. Either way, this page is a small museum of that work.
Blender. I use Blender mainly for 3D animations of creative projects. The software is simple and user friendly, which lets me focus on the details and make something as organic as the shape allows. The best part is that 3D can enhance the experience of a software application: modeling and animation let a user form a deeper connection with a website or app.
Rhino. In undergrad I had a short stint taking architecture classes after being inspired by my roommate. He was a second-year student at the time, and he worked with me at home to catch me up in Rhino, their main 3D software. I did not continue to pursue architecture, but I still retain the knowledge and experiment with the software.
Outcome
Rhino truly taught me to trust the process. Blender is one of the tools I used as Visual Identity and Brand Coordinator at Texas Tech (Jan 2024 – Jul 2025).
Process
People seem to have this idea that the STEM fields and art are separate, but that could not be further from the truth. They are at their best when paired together, and that is the point I try to pursue in my technical endeavors.
Tools
Blender for modeling and animation; Rhino for the architectural model.
