What I made
Everyday I strive to learn how to elevate my community better through art, technology, and advocacy. This page is the advocacy side of that.
I served as Vice President of the Texas Tech Black Student Association (2023–2024) and, after graduating in December 2024, as its Graduate Advisor (2025). Alongside that, I was a Big XII Black Student Government Delegate (2023–2025).
In 2026 I received an ASU+GSV Summit Scholarship.
the old portfolio had a BSA tab, but its text was not captured. What did you write there, and what did the Vice President role involve day to day (events, general meetings, recruiting, design work)?
Outcome
- Vice President (2023–2024), Texas Tech Black Student Association.
- Graduate Advisor (2025), Texas Tech Black Student Association.
- Big XII Black Student Government Delegate (2023–2025).
- ASU+GSV Summit Scholarship recipient (2026).
were there measurable results from the BSA years (membership, events held, funds raised)? None are in the brief, so nothing is claimed here.
Process
what did the Big XII Black Student Government Delegate role involve (what you represented, and what you brought back to the Texas Tech BSA)?
what did the Graduate Advisor role involve in 2025, and how did it connect to your Vice President year?
what did you do at the ASU+GSV Summit, and how does the scholarship relate to your M.A. in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship, if at all?
Tools
list the tools you relied on for BSA work (event graphics, meetings, and communication).
